Can the finials at the 4 corners be unscrewed or taken off?
Greetings! Great question! The standard Corinth finials are permanently attached and aren’t designed to be removed. However, we can customize this style, and have done so in the past, to allow for removable finials when needed.
We have an adjustable base under our king mattress, is this frame compatible with an adjustable base?
Greetings Emelia, Great question! Most adjustable bases will need a customized bed frame to ensure a proper fit. Does the California king sized bed with the rods being 82” in height fit through a standard sized door? I see you said some of the pieces are one unit.
Greetings Beth, Great question! The headboard and footboard are each one solid piece, but they’re designed so they can be tilted and maneuvered through a standard doorway without issue. The only time we see challenges is when there’s an unusually narrow hallway or a tight staircase leading to the room. As long as there’s enough space to angle the piece, it should fit comfortably.
Is there a box spring in the listing photos? Does this bed frame have to be used with either a slat system or a box spring?
