- I love this bed! Does it sway or squeak? Most canopy beds seem unstable.
- Greetings Kim, Thanks so much, I’m glad you love the the bed and great question! Our beds are built with solid, hand‑forged iron and so they’re designed to be extremely sturdy. When everything is tightened properly, there should be very little sway.That said, it is normal for any canopy bed — even very high‑quality ones — to have a slight amount of movement simply because the structure carries weight at the top. With tall vertical posts and a frame overhead, a small sway of around inch at the top is expected when shaken by hand and doesn’t affect stability or longevity. I hope this helps!
